Agriculture and livestock

Waste from agriculture sites includes livestock manure and crop residues and is a very valuable source for the production of biogas. Enormous quantities of both agricultural and waste from livestock are produced and wasted annually worldwide. DMT can help turn them into a valuable source of income.

Wastewater Treatment

Biogas produced from sludge anaerobic digestion, is an excellent source for the production of biomethane. Many wastewater treatment plants already have an anaerobic digester on site. DMT’s technologies and expertise have proven to be very beneficial for these facilities.

Organic waste

Organic waste, also refered to as Muncipal Solid Waste is perfectly suitable for anearobic digestion for the production of biogas and biomethane. It is an excellent sollution to reduce the emission of greenhouse gasses and reducing the use of conventional fossil fuels.

Industrial Waste

Waste produced on a large industrial scale such as waste from slaugtherhouses, cheese factories or brewerys is very attractive for anearobic digestion. Solid and liquid residues from food and beverage production often have a high biogas yield. The biogas can be upgraded to biomehtane and used on site or injected in the national as grid

Landfill

Countries globally have made good progress in diverting waste from landfill sites over the past few years but still landfill is used to dispose waste. Waste in landfills decomposes in an anaerobic process into landfill gas, consisting primarily of methane. To lower the greenhouse gas emission degasification and combustion of the landfill gas is mandatory.

Oil & Gas

The Oil and Gas industry represents an important market segment where DMT enhances value. Especially the use of Flash gas is increasing. These type of gases needs to be cleaned in order to protect the environment as well as the utilities where it is used. Easy to use desulphurisation techniques are more and more demanded, next to re-use of water and water treatment techniques.
